Sisu E13TP 6x6 is a High Mobility Terrain Vehicle (HMTV) for
military use. The vehicle runs well on a number of surfaces
from black-top to gravel roads and hardened to pathless
fields. The personnel inside the cabin can be
protected according to STANAG 4569 ballistic protection levels
1, 2 and 3 and against mines according to levels 2 and 3. Sisu
E13TP 6x6 has a powerful and reliable 400hp CAT engine, which
enables excellent on and off-road mobility with a large payload
capacity under extreme conditions.
Caterpillar has reduced the engine emissions by developing the Acert system that will reduce the emission without any additives. The Acert technology is based on an advanced combustion process where the most complete combustion can be achieved even in low combustion temperatures. As a result, the combustion products are less harmful. The Acert system contains several advanced solutions such as variable valve timing and the connecting of two turbos in one series. The system will not compromise the engine performance, efficiency or service life.
