The most robust vehicle in the series is the SISU 10x10 off-road truck, designed to carry a 26m long pioneer bridge with a related launch mechanism. The vehicle has a mine-protected base structure and a 2-seated armoured cabin placed low in the vehicle.
Caterpillar has reduced the engine emissions by developing the Acert system that will reduce the emission without any additives. The Acert technology is based on an advanced combustion process where the most complete combustion can be achieved even in low combustion temperatures. As a result, the combustion products are less harmful. The Acert system contains several advanced solutions such as variable valve timing and the connecting of two turbos in one series. The system will not compromise the engine performance, efficiency or service life.
